Kara Crawford holds an MFA from George Mason University. She a co-founding editor of Chatterbox!, a new magazine focusing on lengthy short stories. She is also a prose reader for phoebe’s Incarcerated Writers Project, and a longform reader for Ploughshares. Her work has appeared in Pinch, Cream City Review, JAKE, and elsewhere. She was born and raised in Manassas, Virginia and now lives in Pittsburgh. She is currently at work on a novel.
