Kara Crawford holds an MFA from George Mason University. She a co-founding editor of Chatterbox!, a new magazine focusing on lengthy short stories. She is also a longform reader for Ploughshares. Her work has appeared in Pinch, Cream City Review, JAKE, Ghost Parachute, and elsewhere. She was born and raised in Manassas, Virginia and now lives in Pittsburgh. She is currently at work on a novel.
